Khipi distinguishes itself from popular food delivery services by providing a unique ordering experience and delicious culturely-diverse meals.

Challenge

Designing for a young food delivery business required a careful balancing act. Immediate design needs had to be addressed alongside future enhancements, all while prioritizing the establishment of external operations like managing food chains and employees. This entailed understanding evolving requirements and ensuring the design could scale with the user base as it grew.

Outcome

As the business expanded, I developed real-time design solutions based on user feedback. This iterative process enhanced the app's accessibility and usability over time. My experience deepened my understanding of essential design priorities for young businesses, enabling me to balance design recommendations with practical needs effectively. My work has ensured the app's growth and evolution with the business.

I created a driver's app to help them navigate through their deliveries. 

As well as working on their website and mobile UX, I also designed and worked with engineers to launch a driver-side delivery app to streamline meal deliveries and enhance the driver experience.

Khipi’s 18-month long pilot program had 136 customers (all word of mouth), with 81% retention rate.
